We are seeking a Senior Product Specialist to join our Health Products team. A key role responsible for shaping and advancing Canada Life’s health and drug benefits portfolio. This position plays a critical part in managing our suite of health benefits solutions, with a focus on enhancing health product offerings, across health and drugs and other products that support both plan sponsors and members. The Senior Product Specialist will lead product improvements, drive strategic enhancements, and ensure our health benefits solutions continue to deliver meaningful value and exceptional outcomes.

What you will do
- Product Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement.
- Impact Analysis: Assess legislative, market, and compliance-driven changes; recommend and support implementation of product enhancements or mitigation strategies.
- Change Management: Evaluate operational changes from third-party providers and business initiatives; provide actionable recommendations to ensure seamless transitions.
- Vendor Oversight: Support supplier management processes, ensuring alignment between contractual obligations and service delivery; lead necessary adjustments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business development, marketing, and support teams to drive product adoption and satisfaction.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a trusted expert on health products, providing technical guidance and responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
What you will bring

- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and relationship building.
- Experience leading projects and managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- University degree; post-secondary education in business, health, or technology is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in group benefits, health products, or related fields.
- Experience with health product management, health and drug experience is an asset
- Bilingual in French is an asset
- Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website. The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.

The base salary for this position is between $59,800 - $109,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
