Canada Life is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Teams Administrator with strong telephony and legacy telecom experience to support and evolve our enterprise collaboration and voice services. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless delivery of Microsoft Teams Phone capabilities, including number management, carrier integrations, and service optimisation across the organisation.
What you will do:
- Manage and support Microsoft Teams Phone System (policies, dial plans, voice routing)
- Administer Calling Plans, Direct Routing and/or Operator Connect configurations
- Coordinate number porting and manage number inventory
- Review and validate telecom billing and carrier invoices
- Support legacy telephony migrations to Teams
- Troubleshoot voice, connectivity, and call quality issues
- Maintain documentation for governance and audit purposes
What you will bring:
- Experience in telephony or unified communications
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Phone System
- Strong knowledge of PSTN and call routing
- Experience with number porting and telecom billing
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Nice to Have
- PowerShell scripting for Teams
- Knowledge of networking concepts (QoS, latency, jitter)
- Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow

The base salary for this position is between $60,000 - $90,000 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
