The role of the Enrollment Processor is to establish and maintain employees’ and their dependents’ eligibility in an online environment.
What you will do:
- Process and maintain employee/dependent certificate information for existing groups, new groups and multiple client requests in an online environment.
- Determine whether insurance applications meet contractual provisions and the employee’s eligibility for various benefits according to the class & division structure
- Update covered person file for changes in personal information
- Update the Assure Company’s Tandem system to support additions & changes to Drug Card related information
- Determine if special coding is required for particular files
- Identify employee and/or dependent applications which require Medical Underwriting approval basing decisions on contractual & administrative provisions
- Calculate the benefit amounts based on the employee’s profile
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies identified from data integrity reports by updating various internal systems (EAS, BEN, PDD and Tandem) to ensure consistency
- Communicate with Canada Life departments and plan sponsors to obtain missing information required to process enrolment requests
What you will bring:
- Strong keyboarding skills
- Ability to work with Word, Excel and Access applications
- Proven customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Thorough written and oral communication skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous insurance experience &/or post-secondary education or equivalent
- Working knowledge of TOCS/TSO and EAS/BEN/PDD/Tandem &/or GroupNet is an asset
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
- Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website

The base salary for this position is between $34,200.00 - $46,300.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
