Head of Treasury, Capital and Risk Solutions

The Head of Treasury, Capital and Risk Solutions (CRS) is responsible for managing surplus liquidity, cash flow, and the associated financial risks across the division with multiple subsidiaries. This role is accountable for the allocation of capital and surplus funds, compliance with treasury policies, and effective governance of treasury operations. It also coordinates the development and delivery of high-quality risk and capital reporting and forecasting across the organisation. Serving as a critical link between asset liability management (ALM), risk management, capital management, and senior leadership in CRS, the role ensures strategic alignment, accurate analysis, and timely insights to support executive and board‑level decision‑making

 

What you will do:

  • Provide strategic oversight of banking relationships, financing arrangements (including intercompany arrangements), and cash management activities, while collaborating with various teams to align treasury strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Manage liquidity across all subsidiaries and develop cash flow forecasting to assess and meet operational and strategic needs, including short-term surplus asset oversight.
  • Implement and integrate global treasury technology solution.
  • Oversee and report on CRS segment and local regulatory capital level.
  • Act as the primary link between risk management, capital management, and finance teams to ensure alignment of methodologies, assumptions, and outputs.
  • Coordinate and analyze forecasting and budgeting for capital and risk metrics ensuring data quality and consistency with earnings forecast and budget and incorporating stress testing and scenario analysis to support strategic planning as applicable.
  • Support investment oversight of surplus funds within approved guidelines, balancing liquidity, risk, and return objectives, in collaboration with ALM and subsidiary finance teams.

 

What you will bring:

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, and investment oversight.
  • Knowledge of regulatory capital frameworks and risk reporting requirements.
  • Ability to present complex insights to senior leadership in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional multi-location teams.
  • Experience with treasury technology platforms is considered an asset.
