Value Partners Investments (VPI) is looking for a creative and talented Graphic Designer. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing professional and visually appealing marketing materials. We are seeking a reliable and organized team member to elevate our communication and transparency with our advisors, clients and staff.

Founded in 2005, Value Partners Investments (VPI) is a Winnipeg-based investment firm that currently manages over $6.9 Billion in assets primarily through nine investment funds as well as through Value Partners Investment Counsel (VPIC) which provides discretionary investment management services to wealthy families across Canada. Value Partners mission is to build client wealth by investing wisely and communicating clearly. Over the past 20 years we have fulfilled that mission by creating over $3.3 Billion in investment gains for clients.
What you will do
- Design marketing materials including newsletters, presentation slides, brochures and reports
- Design invitations, agendas, landing pages and other meeting materials for events
- Design emails via Constant Contact (email marketing software)
- Design visuals, write copy and post content on various social media channels
- Maintain, update and monitor the effectiveness of company websites
- Assist with miscellaneous graphic design projects
- Continuously improve the professionalism, consistency and visual appeal of all VPI marketing materials
What you will bring
- Post-secondary education in graphic design
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (most important are Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to turn complex topics into simple, easy to understand graphics and visuals
- Experience meeting digital accessibility standards (PDF, PowerPoint, Video, Web)

The base salary for this position is between $62,800 - $94,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
