We are looking for a Conversion and Speciality Products Administrator.
This position is responsible for the co-ordination and administration of Life/Long Term Disability (LTD) Conversion and Canada Life’s international products. International products are designed to meet the unique needs of international plan members working for Canadian employers and Canadians working outside of Canada. They provide information to the field regarding product design, rates, legislative requirements, and administration procedures. They will also address case specific issues from Head office, Field office, Clients, and Employees. The Conversion and Specialty Product Administrator is responsible to co-ordinate new plans and the on-going administration with both internal departments and the third-party providers.
What you will do
- Processing of applications for international products
- Coordination of Life and LTD conversion
- Create and distribute plan documents
- Coordinate calculation of rates
- Communicate with Plan Administrators, Advisors, and Third-party vendors
- Monthly reconciliation and reporting
What you will bring
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Well-developed customer service skills.
- Experience working in Excel, Word, and Access.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using PAS/EAS is an asset.
- Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website. The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.

The base salary for this position is between $39,100 - $52,800 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
