We are looking for a Claims Processor to join the team!
Role description
This position is suited to an individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, continuously evolving environment. The Drug Services Processor is responsible for assessing various types of drug requests and accurately logging incoming work for the department. This includes reviewing multiple systems (BEN, PAS, Payer Portal, and Tandem) to determine eligibility. Strong time management and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
What you will do
- Living our values of Customer View, Integrity, Partnership, and Communities
- Reviewing drug exception requests and completing set‑ups in the Tandem system
- Corresponding by phone and email with Group Offices, Resource Centers, Benefit Payment Offices, and Group Customer Contact Services
- Running and maintaining reports using Excel
- Scanning, logging, and distributing referrals and prior authorizations
- Attending the office at least two days per week

- Comfort navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously
- Experience using Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications; excellent keyboarding skills (40 wpm)
- As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism is an asset (fluent in French and English) but is required for Quebec only as the position will regularly serve our clients with French and English-speaking needs.
- Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website. The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.

The base salary for this position is between $34,900 - $47,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
