Bilingual Health and Wealth Support Associate

An exciting opportunity exists to be part of an amazing team of professionals in one of Canada’s leading Insurance Companies in the Group Customer Division. As a Health and Wealth Support Associate, you will support a team of licensed Health and Wealth Consultants’ sales, service and leadership staff by handling administrative duties, performing ongoing daily tasks and facilitating workflow within the Health and Wealth Guidance Solutions team.
What you will do
- Follow up directly with members for missing information
- Perform ongoing daily tasks for Health and Wealth Consultants and Leaders.
- Help plan members complete and update documentation, as needed
- Contact and follow up with other financial institutions to ensure assets are transferred
- Support multiple lines of business between Health and Wealth Consultants and Canada Life (GLH, GRS, IHS, Life Conversions, Group and Individual Insurance)
- Facilitate members’ requests to transfer assets from other financial institutions
- Assign 2nd level support inquiries to Sales and Service staff
- Help produce and update support materials for Sales and Service staff as needed
What you will bring
- Bilingualism in French and English is a requirement
- Must be able to demonstrate efficient use of time management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrate good Customer Service Skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to communicate well verbally and written
- 3-5 years in the Canadian insurance and/or financial industry, with a specific emphasis on group products
- Post secondary education or equivalent work experience
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) an asset
- Strong knowledge of Group Benefits or Group Retirement products
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website. The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.

The base salary for this position is between $40,300.00 minimum - $60,400.00 maximum annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
