We are looking for an Accounts Payable, Corporate Services Coordinator
Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable you will be accountable for the overall administration of services related to Employee reimbursements and Vendor payments. This role supports a team of Accounts Payable Administrators with training, problem resolution and motivation. It provides support to internal employees of all levels of the organization and has direct interaction with external vendors. This role may also include responsibilities supporting the Corporate Travel program.
What you will do:
- Accountable for the timely review, audit and posting of expense submissions (employee reimbursement and vendor payment) in Ariba, SAP and Concur, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy requirements.
- Responsible for processing weekly EFT and cheque payment runs, ACH payment runs, special payment runs and reviewing wire payment requests to ensure prompt payment.
- Review and maintain sensitive information such as banking information and vendor updates while following necessary controls to mitigate fraudulent activity.
- Review documents for self-assessment and work with Taxation to ensure proper tax coding.
- Promptly support escalated or complex situations and provide guidance and solutions.
- Provide support to peers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our policies and procedures.
- Main point of contact for inquiries from employees and vendors.
- Strong understanding of multiple systems; may be required to make configuration changes and conduct testing of systems.
- Training of new employees, assist with facilitation of cross training, support and motivate staff.
- Cross department processing, understanding multiple departments policies and processes.
- Miscellaneous duties including but not limited to the creation and updating of process/training documents, participate in projects, ad hoc reporting, etc.
What you will bring:
- 3-5 years of accounts payable experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office (O365) – Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- Ariba (P2P), SAP and/or Concur experience would be an asset.
- Detail orientated and attention to quality of work and correspondence.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Self-motivated with ability to effectively multi-task, make sound decisions, work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Analytical Thinking – ability to analyze a situation to determine the best way to proceed.

The base salary for this position is between $41,100 - $61,600 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
