As a Sales Director you'll leading a high performing team of Account Executives focused on growing our consultant small case group benefits business.
What you will do
-
Work closely with Account Executives on day to day concerns including handling escalated issues

Relationship management with business partners both internally and externally
-
Work collaboratively with regional service counterparts to ensure customer needs are exceeded

Achieve business objectives and execute quarterly regional business plans as rolled out by the Regional Vice President

Provide leadership and coaching to your sales team to drive performance and achieve business objectives Maintain and strengthen relationships with consultants and customers, to achieve annual sales, persistency, and other targets

Manage the sales process from request for proposal to finalist presentation

Work closely with consultants, customers, and client relationship staff to ensure customer satisfaction through our new business implementation process and ongoing account management.

Promote additional products and services with consultants, customers, and regional service counterpart(s) to enhance client retention

Maintain small caseload of large or complex clients, as necessary, to support their unique sales needs
What you will bring
-
5+ years of sales experience in the Canadian Group Insurance ideally in leadership Excellent relationship management skills
-
Understand the business environment and consultants/customer needs to create competitive advantage Create alignment on opportunities to drive sales results and ensure retention of clients

Work to ensure resources are deployed effectively to meet customer needs, and balance peaks and valleys in workload

Build partnerships to seek opportunity for cross selling with consultants and customers

Contribute to the development of new products and services by sharing ideas and concepts with Regional Vice President, Regional Service Leaders and head office

Foster an environment of innovation and is open to the perspectives and ideas of others

Highly effective sales skills and business knowledge are an intrinsic part of our culture and drive our success Employs a balanced approach to success, including regular measurement against aggressive and multi-faceted KPI’s

Post secondary education or equivalent work experience

Anticipate future consequences and trends accurately and recognizes and acts on strategic opportunities Committed to personal development and improvement

Positively promote our Company’s Purpose & Vision by developing and maintaining relationships with industry related organizations, community leaders and community/volunteer organizations

Act as a change agent and adopt a client centric approach Valid driver’s license and vehicle

The base salary for this position is between $92,100 - $170,500 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
