We are looking for an Administrative Assistant in Vancouver, BC. 

 

The Administrative Support Assistant is responsible for the telephone reception and administrative duties for the Disability Management Services Office (DMSO).

 

 What you will do 

 

  • Manage incoming inquiries and triaging/redistributing emails in the DMSO email mailbox in a timely manner.
  • Accurately update confidential customer information
  • Answer customer inquiries via telephone.
  • Administrative duties such as ordering supplies, sending letters and photocopying.
  • Update provider information.
  • Working with Intake team and our DMSO staff to ensure client specific needs are met.
  • Assist with other support functions as required.

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Proficient user in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Confidence with basic/intermediate computer skills and programs
  • Strong typing and data entry skills
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills.
  • Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website.

The base salary for this position is between  $37,000 - $47,000 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
