Visual/UI Designer

We’re looking for a creative Visual UI (User Interface) Designer to help shape our digital brand identity and craft intuitive, engaging user experiences. If you’re passionate about branding, digital marketing, visual storytelling, design systems, and creating, user-centered interfaces, we’d love to hear from you.

 

What you will do 

  • Bring our brand to life through visual storytelling by designing high-fidelity prototypes, UI elements, and polished visual assets that align with our design system.
  • Create iconography, illustrations, infographics, and data visualizations that reflect and reinforce our brand identity.
  • Author visual content in CMS platforms.
  • Ensure visual consistency and accessibility across all digital touchpoints, with a strong focus on AODA and WCAG compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams – including UX, Content, Strategy, Motion, Marketing, and Front-End Development – to deliver on brand design solutions.
  • Create impactful presentations that simplify complex concepts and engage diverse audiences.
  • Present design concepts to peers and Senior Visual UI Designers.
  • Embrace feedback and implement changes efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay curious and engaged with emerging visual design and industry trends and actively share insights with the team.
  • Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail in every aspect of your work.

 

What you will bring 

  • 1-3 years of experience in Visual UI Design or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of Visual UI design work, including branding, marketing materials, websites, social media.
  • A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related discipline; RGD certification is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of visual design principles – typography, colour theory, layout, and branding.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • A passion for design thinking and solving problems with creativity and empathy.
  • Experience working in agile environments is an asset.
  • A growth mindset and a desire to continuously learn and improve.

 

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Toronto, London, Winnipeg.

The base salary for this position is between $57,100 - $94,200 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
