Reporting to the Program Enablement Lead, the Training & Development Specialist is accountable for the timely, flexible and responsive development and maintenance of training strategies, training programs, tools and processes to meet the needs of our Freedom Experience teams.
What you will do
- Working in partnership with business leaders to develop training programs, tools and processes to support Freedom Experience objectives.
- Designing a blended learning path for staff that supports both new-hire training and ongoing relevant knowledge needed for superior customer service delivery
- Deliver instructor-led training to teams across Freedom Experience
- Maintaining existing content to ensure most up-to-date reference material is utilized
- Working to establish and maintain a CE accreditation process for licensed staff
What you will bring
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies (post-secondary education in Adult Education is preferred)
- Strong presentation skills
- Working knowledge of e-learning authoring tools such as Storyline 360 and Vyond
- Working knowledge of a Learning Management System in an administrative capacity
- Proven ability in assessing training needs, developing training recommendations, designing and evaluating programs
- Demonstrated creative and innovative approaches and solutions
- Demonstrated understanding of training delivery in a contact centre environment
- Demonstrated consultation skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Thrives in a new and changing environment
- Open to ongoing feedback and refinement; focused on continuous improvement
- Bilingualism an asset

The base salary for this position is between $51,400 - $ 95,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
