Sr. Analyst Third Party Risk Management

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, to Support our Third Party Risk 1B function Team.
Reporting to the Manager in Third Party Risk, the Senior Analyst plays a crucial role in assessing and managing the risks associated with an organization's external vendors, suppliers, and partners. This role will focus on the Quality, Monitoring, and Reporting:

- Continuously monitor the quality of risk profile of third-party vendors and update risk assessments, as necessary.
- Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collate and record incidents involving third-party vendors, including breaches of contract or security incidents.
What you will do
- Assist in providing a holistic view of third-party risks across the organization
- Assist in performing risk assessments such as RCAs, etc.
- Support monitoring and tracking of KPIs/KRIs, Third Party risk related issues, audit findings, and exceptions related to policy / standard.
- Assist in the preparation of reports to highlight quality checks and risk exposures.
- Provide guidance to contract owners in implementation, and continuous monitoring of controls that reduce a broad spectrum of third-party risks.
- Provide subject matter expertise in third party risk management.
- Foster, advocate for and strengthen Canada Life’s overall third-party risk posture.
- Support both regulatory and internal audit compliance activities related but not limited to B10, E21, DORA.
Skills and Qualifications
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and mitigate risks effectively.
- Attention to Detail:
- High level of attention to detail to identify potential risks and ensure thorough assessments.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports and communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Regulations:
- Understanding of relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with risk management software and tools.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Project Management:
- Strong project management skills to manage multiple assessments and remediation plans simultaneously.
Education and Experience
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are advantageous.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in risk management, compliance, audit, or a related field.
- Experience with vendor management and procurement processes.

The base salary for this position is between $63,500.00 - $117,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
