As an Sr SAP HANA Developer, you will play a key role in the analysis, development, testing, maintenance, and support of SAP Enterprise Application solutions. If you thrive in a fast-paced, ideas-led environment, you’re in the right place.
What you will do:
- Design, develop, integrate, unit test and document high-complexity business solutions, Reporting and Analytics using SAP Native HANA and SAC
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, design and implement solutions.
- Contribute to project planning by providing estimates and creating a work breakdown structure (WBS) for the project lifecycle and/or Sprint, including the design, development, and deployment phase.
- Document functional and technical design specifications
- Develop fixes and enhance existing software products, manage deployment through different environments while adhering to standards and version control.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to design, develop and deploy integrated solutions across internal and external business systems, including those involving Cloud Service Providers.
- Provide operational support to resolve complex problems and manage incidents in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Problem management by identifying and understanding the underlying root causes of an incident.
- Improves practices, tools, and processes through continuous feedback, staying updated on industry trends and adopting best practices.
What you bring:
- Degree in related discipline (Computer Science) or equivalent combination of training and experience; 5+ years experience
- SAP Native HANA development experience with a strong understanding of database and data warehousing concepts.
- Design, build, Test SAP HANA Models by effectively translating business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Experience working with SAP HANA XSA/XS, Web IDE for HANA,HANA Studio and other SAP tools with an understanding of the Schemas and packaging in HANA.
- Strong SAP HANA Dimensional Modelling Experience should be well versed in developing different HANA data models with graphical, SQL script, stored procedures, Table Functions, Hierarchies, designing tables.
- Must have strong experience on Data Modeling Calculation Views with complex calculations, currency conversions etc. while using best practices.
- Experience in Data Provisioning methods such as SDI/SDA, SLT Table replication, Job Scheduling, and monitoring
- Experience with Optimization of models and performance Tuning of the Analytical Reports
- Deployment and Transport process in Web IDE
- Design, develop and troubleshooting of reports and dashboards in SAP Analytic cloud
- Experience in designing and implementing live and import data models and connections within SAC, integrating both SAP and non-SAP sources while ensuring data integrity, performance, scalability and cost-effectiveness
- Experience in data modeling and preparing datasets, merging, appending, custom hierarchies, custom calculations, groupings
- Experience in creating Optimized stories, advanced story designing, blending data, formulas, cross calculations, input controls, linked analysis
- Well versed in visualizations and their usage charts, tables, maps, filters, dropdown menus, hiding functions, interactive objects, pictures , leveraging advanced features to provide actionable insights
- Knowledge in configuring security and performing administration tasks such as defining users and teams and assigning roles and privileges are a plus
- Nice to have Knowledge in SAC Planning and forecasting
- Nice to have experience in application development using XSJS/Node.JS, MVC architecture, UI development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that rely on a structured approach to problem solving.
- Working experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies - Usage of JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow (ITIL)
- Working knowledge of version control software such as GitLab
- Experience developing and testing of Client/Server and Web applications.
- Communicates in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbal
- Good interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Effective internal consulting skills with a strong customer service orientation
- Ability to adapt to change and perform effectively under pressure.
- Ability to both give and take constructive feedback.
- Experience with peer code review sessions.
- Effective planning and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving abilities.

The base salary for this position is between $63,500.00 - $110,000.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
