As the organization continues to advance its Business Risk & Control function, we are seeking a Senior Compliance Advisor to join the team supporting the Individual Wealth business unit and its subsidiaries. Reporting to the Manager, Compliance, you will play a key role in in providing oversight and advisory services on regulatory and compliance programs across the IW business.
What you will do
- Support the development and implementation and provide effective oversight of compliance programs aligned with financial services regulations (e.g., OSFI, CIRO, CSA, FINTRAC).
- Monitor and interpret regulatory developments, assess potential impacts, and support stakeholder coordination for implementation.
- Lead or support regulatory change initiatives and issues management, including gap assessments, action plans and remediation tracking.
- Prepare and maintain regulatory trackers, implementation plans, documentation repositories, and governance artefacts.
- Support preparation of compliance metrics, dashboards, and reporting materials for quarterly governance meetings and oversight committees.
- Execute compliance monitoring and testing activities aligned with the Business Risk & Control framework.
- Support responses to regulatory or compliance-related queries and coordinate with Legal, second-line oversight teams, and operational stakeholders.
- Maintain regulatory libraries, compliance documentation, and audit-ready evidence.
- Participate in cross‑functional initiatives aimed at strengthening governance frameworks and supervisory practices.
What you will bring
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory or risk role within wealth management and/or financial services.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance practices within the wealth management regulatory landscape (CIRO, OSC).
- Experience supporting regulatory change initiatives, compliance monitoring programs, governance reporting, or control testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage complex regulatory information.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and reporting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with compliance systems or governance tools is an asset.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

The base salary for this position is between $75,500 - $125,800 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
