The Finance & Strategic Data team works closely with stakeholders across functions to leverage data to drive decisions and enable continuous and step-change growth. 

 

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain management reporting and analytics tools to support the ongoing management of business performance
  • Deliver insight into the key value drivers of Freedom Experience by explaining performance results, leveraging data visualization tools like PowerBI 
  • Ensure accuracy of reporting and seek to understand operational information to support data driven decision making
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support new and on-going initiatives to grow business 
  • Challenge the status quo to support process improvements, business growth and operational efficiencies

 

What you will bring:

  • 2 or more years of analytical, problem-solving work experience preferably in professional services 
  • A college or university degree
  • Demonstrated analytical & Excel skills – performing quantitative and financial analyses
  • Self-starter with high motivational level, intellectual curiosity, and openness to learning and continuous development
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI an asset
  • Understanding of, or experience in, the life insurance, health insurance, wealth and asset management industries is a bonus
  • Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website

The base salary for this position is between  $50,400.00 - $83,900.00 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
