We are looking for a Regional Manager, Client Relationships

 

This role focuses on leading a team of professionals to deliver an industry-leading, client relationship focused service experience to our group retirement clients. It offers challenging and meaningful work in a fast-paced work environment, exciting opportunities with room to grow and develop, as well as a range of work day-to-day. What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute regional strategies to drive client retention, growth, and overall portfolio performance, while contributing to national initiatives and best practices
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence
  • Provide direction and oversight to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across client relationships, plan administration, and stakeholder support
  • Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and other regional leaders to align on client strategy, resolve complex issues, and drive business outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, and distribution partners, reinforcing Canada Life’s value proposition
  • Oversee resource planning and workload management to ensure team efficiency, scalability, and effective support of client needs
  • Act as an escalation point for complex client situations, providing guidance and ensuring timely, effective resolution
  • Represent Canada Life in the market through industry events, client engagement, and thought leadership, enhancing regional visibility and brand presence
  • Foster regional engagement and alignment, ensuring the team is connected to broader organizational priorities and direction

 

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in the Canadian insurance and/or financial industry
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities; coaching, developing and fostering a high-performance team
  • Highly adaptable, driven to develop talent and help people be their best
  • Proven ability to create a high-energy, collaborative culture where teams thrive
  • Passion for service excellence, creating connections with clients, and making a difference
  • Track record of consistently achieving strategic business objectives
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to help influence thinking and behaviours
  • Strong understanding of Group Retirement Services and key stakeholders
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
  • Industry designations RPA and GBA are considered an asset

 

This position will be located in the Toronto head office and follows a hybrid field work model.

The base salary for this position is between $91,000 - $141,000 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
