We are looking for a QA Delivery Lead (internal title is Senior Quality Assurance Specialist). This will be a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the London, Toronto or Winnipeg main office.

 

We are looking for a Senior QA Delivery Lead. 

 

Successful candidate will serve as QA Delivery Lead, specialized in driving Quality Assurance on major Projects or Initiatives with a focus on ensuring overall quality for an entire Program or major Project. The candidate will work closely with other Leads (Test Data Management, Lower Environments, Service Virtualization, Automation, Performance, Security Scanning, Business Test Leads, etc.) to coordinate and oversee all Test Activities. The individual must have good leadership, strong communication and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams.  

 

 

What you will do 

  • Organize and deliver overall test coordination within a Major Project/ Initiative 

  • Create and publish E2E Test Strategy/Approach/Plan document 

  • Act as a test leader and point of escalation for entire Program/Project/Initiative 

  • Ensure traceability between requirements and testing related deliverables 

  • Coordinate and drive testing through functional and non-functional Test Leads across multiple Projects 

  • Coordinate testing timelines, dependencies and interactions with Dependent Systems and Delivery Teams 

  • Report on the testing status to the program leadership team 

  • Engage specialized teams as need by the program/project 

  • Champion and contribute to the development and effective application of testing standards, tools, processes and best practices 

  • Estimate and help with resource loading/levelling and planning along with ensuring right level of productivity 

 

What you will bring 

  • Expert knowledge of various software development lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile) 

  • Experience in Delivery Management of Client Server/Web Based/Mainframe/standalone applications 

  • Test leadership experience on large, complex projects, programs or initiatives 

  • Extensive experience in: 

  • Large project scoping, estimating, and work management 

  • Mapping complex requirements to test strategies and cases and analyzing test coverage 

  • Developing effective working relationships with the business 

  • Working Experience in Corporate HR an asset 

  • Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, self motivational,  problem-solving, and written communication skills to satisfy the main duties of this role 

  • Proficient in leading and collaborating with teams to achieve common goals 

  • Technical leadership and mentoring for testing teams is nice-to-have 

  • Strong experience in any test management tools such as ALM, Zephyr, JIRA etc.

The base salary for this position is between  $61,900 - $114,500 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
