Regional Manager, Client Service (Group Retirement)

Reporting to the Regional Service Director, the Regional Manager, Client Service leads a team of service professionals to deliver an industry-leading, customer-focused service experience to our Group clients.  

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

  • Ensure day-to-day service, education and administration needs of all stakeholders are met

  • Empower team to delight clients through service excellence. 

  • Monitor and balance workloads and resources of service teams

  • Develop and execute innovative regional strategies and processes Excelling as a collaborative leader within their region, they and their teams will

  • interact closely with other leaders, sales and administrative roles, internal and external partners, Advisors and plan sponsors. 

  • Coach and develop direct reports as you maintain a high-performance culture.

  • Lead + champion change initiatives

  • Help design and execute new ideas that will generate an accumulative, competitive advantage

  • leverage and integrate technology to help improve performance.

  • Directly maintain a small caseload of large or complex clients, as necessary

  • Build and maintain partnerships both within the organization and region.

  • Leverage your emotional intelligence to help influence thinking and behaviours

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

 

  • 5+ years of experience in the Canadian insurance and/or financial industry

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities; coaching, developing and fostering a high-performance team.

  • Highly adaptable, driven to develop talent and help people be their best.

  • Proven ability to create a high-energy, collaborative culture where teams thrive.

  • Passion for service excellence, creating connections with clients, and making a difference

  • Track record of consistently achieving strategic business objectives.

  • High emotional intelligence and ability to help influence thinking and behaviours.

  • Strong understanding of Group Retirement Services and key stakeholders

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.

  • Industry designations RPA and GBA are considered an asset.

  • Bilingualism an asset.

The base salary for this position is between  $82,800- $137,900 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
