Manager, Health Product Delivery

We are seeking a Manager, Health Product Delivery to join our Workplace Benefits and Retirement business. In this role, you will provide thought leadership and apply your expert knowledge to work on strategically complex projects that may be multi-year in duration, with substantial business impact. This role leads the implementation of solutions that may require the modification of business processes, systems, and products, with the goal of improving our health product offerings for sponsors and members. You will be translating strategy into successful delivery through strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and customer-focused product design.

What you will do

    • Inform and evolve the health product delivery roadmap by identifying opportunities grounded in customer needs, business strategy, and feasibility.
    • Guide ideation, research, and delivery of enhancements and net-new health products and services, ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
    • Act as the voice of the customer across product design and delivery, championing customer outcomes across digital platforms.
    • Independently lead and coordinate large, cross-functional initiatives with Technology partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver on time and on budget.
    • Proactively overcome barriers and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
    • Develop business cases, manage project budgets, and track key performance indicators including utilization, penetration, cost, and financial outcomes.
    • Maintain a strong external pulse on customer, competitive, legislative, and compliance environments and lead responses to changes impacting delivery.
    • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Procurement, and Risk teams to identify, assess, and mitigate delivery and product risks.

    • Strategic and delivery-focused mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into executable plans.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and build alignment across diverse internal and external stakeholder groups.
    • Proven success coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives and delivering outcomes in a matrixed environment.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including development of business cases and financial analysis.
    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and navigate competing priorities.
    • University degree: post-secondary education in business, health, or technology is an asset, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada  website.  The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.

 

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following locations: Toronto, London, Winnipeg.

The base salary for this position is between $102,000 - $152,000 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
