We are seeking a Data Reporting Leader to support Business Development through two key areas of focus: lead the validation process for coverage changes made to Canada Life group insurance clients, and develop high‑quality dashboards and reporting that provide timely and reliable insights.
By ensuring that coverage changes generating additional premium are accurately captured in performance reporting, this role strengthens data quality and improves the accuracy of our results. In addition, the Data Reporting Leader will build and evolve analytical reporting using Power BI, Excel, and SQL. By digging into performance results, identifying key trends, and translating complex data into clear insights, the role provides senior leadership with the information needed for forecasting, productivity measurement, and informed, data‑driven decision‑making.
What you will do
- Lead the validation process for coverage changes made to Canada Life group insurance clients; identify changes that generate additional premium to ensure they are captured accurately in performance reporting
- Improve, streamline, and automate the currently manual coverage‑change validation workflow
- Build, enhance, and evolve dashboards and reporting using Power BI, Excel, and SQL
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to explain performance results and identify key trends
- Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling insights and business narratives
- Continuously work with stakeholders to improve data availability, quality, and drive automation
- Ensure confidence in our reporting by providing timely, complete, and accurate information
What you will bring
- Strong proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel
- Ability to model, structure, validate, and document complex datasets to support accurate and reliable decision‑making
- Experience improving manual operational processes, including the ability to streamline or automate validation workflows
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- A proactive mindset — you seek to understand the purpose behind requests and consistently look for opportunities to improve processes and outcomes

The base salary for this position is between $64,800 - $119,800 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
