Do you enjoy gathering and analyzing information? Are you curious about how market trends shape business decisions? Join our Market Insights team for the summer and gain hands‑on experience supporting competitive intelligence and market analysis efforts that help drive strategy across the business.
As a Market Insights Intern, you will contribute to research, reporting, and insight development within the Individual Customer and Advisory Network teams. This role is ideal for students interested in analytics, business strategy, market research, or financial services.
What You Will Do
- Market monitoring & reporting: summarize trends, competitive changes, and industry developments for internal audiences.
- Product support: conduct research on competitor products, pricing, and market positioning.
- Wholesale support: contribute to updating sales tools, comparison summaries, and market snapshots
- Intelligence output development and management: help organize and maintain intelligence repositories, databases, and shared team resources.
- Team Support: complete ad-hoc research and analysis requests from team members and internal stakeholders.
What You Will Bring
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize information clearly.
- Interest in financial services, insurance, or wealth products (experience not required).
- Highly organized with solid time‑management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with data and learning new tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

The base salary for this position is between $45,600 - $68,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
For our student opportunities, the base salary will be dependent on the number of work terms you have completed along with other factors depending on your program.
