We are looking for a Manager, Risk & Resilience to join our Individual Wealth division. Reporting to the Director, Risk, Governance & Controls, the Manager will be responsible for enabling strong risk management practices and operational resilience capabilities across the Individual Wealth business and its subsidiaries. A strategic thinker and effective collaborator, the successful candidate will work closely with business leaders and other stakeholders to embed risk awareness, support the implementation of risk change programs, and enhance the overall control environment, while ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide risk and resilience strategies.
What you will do
Relationship Management:
- Help lead team to develop a good understanding of business and provide risk advice to businesses
Leadership in Risk Programs:
- Lead risk programs including but not limited to Business Continuity Management, Operational Resilience, Key Risk Indicators, Risk Events Reporting, Internal Audit Support, End User Computing (EUC).
Process & Controls Monitoring and Improvement:
- Identify processes and process data for process inventory management
- Facilitate process mapping by the Central 1B team
- Advise the business on process and control improvements
- Identify risk treatment (i.e., mitigate/ control, avoid, transfer, accept)
Reporting:
- Provide key inputs to Risk & Compliance Committee reporting on operational risk profile and key updates from risk programs.
What you will bring
- 5+ years of experience in a financial services industry role with operational risk and controls, internal audit, risk advisory related responsibilities including People Management
- Risk Management, Accounting, or Internal Audit designation (e.g. CRM, CPA, CIA etc.) preferred
- Knowledge and sound understanding of the wealth management industry, including the regulatory requirements and standards within the wealth management regulatory landscape (CIRO, OSC), is considered an asset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and provide training on risk and resilience topics
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail, ability to self-motivate, and deliver against deadlines
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft products (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

The base salary for this position is between $82,300 - $151,500 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
