Learning Facilitation Consultant

As one of the most prominent learner-facing roles within the Learning & Development Team, the Learning Facilitation Consultant acts as a brand representative for Canada Life and demonstrates behaviours and values aligned with our vision and purpose. This role combines facilitation expertise with strategic input to enhance learning programs and drive business performance.

 

The Learning Facilitation Consultant delivers high-impact learning experiences, gathers insights to inform program development, and partners with cross-functional teams to continuously improve learning strategies. The role ensures learners are engaged, motivated, and equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed.

What will you do:

  • Deliver and manage in-person and virtual learning sessions/workshops to drive business results.
  • Gather feedback to inform continuous improvement of learning programs.
  • Collaborate with Learning Strategy Consultants, Instructional Designers, and business partners to align training with organizational goals.
  • Utilize in-depth financial planning, product, and process expertise to resolve complex issues in real time.
  • Integrate innovative practices and digital tools into facilitation to enhance learner engagement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to shape the learning roadmap and training strategy.
  • Demonstrate the skill and ability to influence, entice and create value around a learning topic; motivate and engage learners in a meaningful way.

What you will bring:

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (required).
  • Strong facilitation background with experience in virtual and in-person training.
  • Knowledge of adult learning methodologies.
  • Have experience in sales and financial services or have completed their LLQP.
  • Proven ability to assess learning needs, develop recommendations, and evaluate programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

The base salary for this position is between  $64,800.00 - $119,800.00 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
