The Lead Planning & Operations Analyst plays a key role in supporting how work is planned, tracked, measured, and delivered across Brand, Marketing, Communications and Social Impact (BMCI). Reporting to the Planning & Operations Manager, this role serves as the technical lead for the Planning & Operations team and is responsible for the ongoing administration, enhancement, and adoption of the tools, workflows, reporting, and governance processes that support day-to-day operations. Working closely with teams across BMCI, this role helps ensure data is accurate, reporting is meaningful, and planning and governance processes run smoothly. As the team's go-to resource for platforms such as Adobe Workfront, Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, and similar tools, the Lead Planning & Operations Analyst helps design and implement workflows, system enhancements, and reporting solutions that support how teams plan, prioritize, and deliver work.
What you will do
- Act as the primary resource for Adobe Workfront, Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, and other planning and reporting tools, providing administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
- Serve as the business owner for planning and workflow management platforms, maintaining awareness of new features and capabilities and identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting, automation, and user experience.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and help design and implement workflows, processes, automations, reports, dashboards, and system enhancements.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into projects, progress, capacity, risks, and performance.
- Support planning and governance activities by maintaining portfolio data, tracking work, monitoring priorities, and ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
- Support recurring reporting and governance activities, including KPI reporting, operational metrics, leadership updates, and planning reviews.
- Support the implementation of new processes and ways of working by configuring tools, developing reporting solutions, and supporting adoption.
- Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices related to planning tools, reporting, workflows, and data management.
- Provide training and day-to-day support to users, helping teams get the most value from planning and workflow platforms.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks, simplify processes, improve reporting, and enhance how information is captured, managed, and shared.
What you will bring
- 3-5 years of experience in operations, marketing operations, business analytics, project coordination, systems administration, or a related field.
- Experience working with platforms such as Adobe Workfront, Smartsheet, Power BI, Microsoft 365, or similar planning, workflow, and reporting tools.
- Experience configuring and supporting workflows, forms, dashboards, reports, automations, and system enhancements within business platforms.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, and insights that support operational and business decision-making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn business needs and data into practical solutions and recommendations.
- Experience managing and maintaining data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- A practical, hands-on approach to solving problems and improving how work gets done.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Post-secondary education in business, operations, analytics, marketing, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The base salary for this position is between $56,900 - $,99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
