IT Asset Management Specialist
You will be responsible for proactively enforcing software asset governance, coordinating regular monitoring, and tracking reconciliation activities. The focus will be on the asset management lifecycle and will also include maximizing the value of IT asset investments, analyzing software asset data, performing root cause analysis of non-compliance, applying corrective actions, and identifying and implementing process improvements.
What you will do
- Support the execution of ITAM strategic initiatives in partnership with internal and external ITAM stakeholders.
- Foster effective relationships and collaborate with internal and external ITAM stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment among ITAM stakeholders.
- Analyze contracts to establish an effective license position, provide license optimization, and over deployment remediation.
- Analyze software license purchase and discovery data for the purposes of reconciliation and remediation tasks.
- Drive over deployment resolution activities in partnership with ITAM stakeholders.
- Monitor hardware and software inventory throughout the lifecycle. Records and tracks hardware and software acquisitions and updates and maintains records in the asset database.
- Monitor and maintain software lifecycle dates accurate within ServiceNow’s content library.
- Identify new ITAM trends, potential risks and recommend solutions.
- Recommend and implement solutions based on issue’s analysis and business implications.
- Streamline, simplify, and continuously improve existing processes while adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Integrate information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis and/or streamlined reporting.
- Design and produce reports and dashboards within ServiceNow.

What you will bring
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of interpreting licensing terms and conditions, licensing models, contracts, and pricing arrangements with major vendors (Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, etc)
- Actively participate in the creation and optimization of standard operating procedures, processes, guidelines and documentation for all asset management processes
- Solid understanding of asset management and discovery tools like ServiceNow SAM Pro, BMC, SCCM, Intune, ILMT and BigFix
- Solid understanding on ServiceNow reporting and dashboard creation capabilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and a natural ability to solve complex issues. High attention to detail and strong ability to learn new technologies.
- Passion for the possibilities of technology and for staying abreast of advances in technology and industry best practices
- 5-7 years of relevant ITAM/SAM experience
- Understanding of Service Management and ITIL

The base salary for this position is between $61000 - $114000 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
