Client Advisory Services (CAS) is a key driver of Canada Life’s long-term growth, working alongside our Workplace, Wealth, and Insurance businesses to provide clients and plan members with personalized advice and meaningful solutions. We’re focused on building deeper relationships with end-clients and plan members by expanding opportunities through employee advisors. Our team brings together several specialized teams — Freedom Experience (licensed retirement and insurance specialists), Financial Solutions Centre & Continuum (collaborative, team based financial advice), and Pinnacle (advisor succession and business transition support).
The Executive Assistant provides high‑level administrative support to the Senior Vice President, Client Advisory Services, and Vice Presidents across the business. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. As a trusted partner and first point of contact, you’ll manage calendars, coordinate travel, prepare correspondence and presentations, track action items, organize files, and review expenses—ensuring leadership priorities are well planned, organized, and executed efficiently.
What you will do:
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
- Serve as a key point of contact, managing calls and communications for Executives
- Draft, review, and send communications on behalf of leadership
- Manage and optimize calendars for multiple Executives
- Plan and coordinate meetings and events, including logistics and materials
- Prepare meeting documents, presentations, and briefing materials
- Compile and review expense reports
- Lead and support special projects as needed
- Maintain records, files, and critical business documentation
- Proactively manage priorities, anticipate changes, and adjust schedules to ensure leaders are positioned for success
What you will bring
- 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives in a fast‑paced environment
- Post‑secondary education in business administration (preferred)
- Strong calendar, travel, and priority management skills, including international travel
- Proven ability to support Executives remotely while they are travelling
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple Executives and competing deadlines
- Sound judgment with strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and influencing skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

The base salary for this position is between $59,800 - $99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
