The Quality Engineering Practice Lead is responsible for championing Quality Engineering practices across the organization. This leader drives excellence in QE by developing and sharing standards, frameworks, and best practices in collaboration with other QE Communities of Practice (COP) leads. They focus on capability building, performance improvement, and the strategic advancement of automation and Quality Engineering Practices and Standards.
What you will do:
QE Practice Leadership
- Define, evolve, and promote QE standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Develop QE COP and structure
- Collaborate with QE COP leads to ensure consistency and alignment across teams.
- Act as a thought leader in QE, staying ahead of industry trends and innovations.
Capability & People Development
- Identify skill gaps and lead initiatives to upskill QE professionals.
- Mentor QE team members and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Performance & Maturity Measurement
- Establish KPIs and metrics to assess QE effectiveness and maturity.
- Measure and report on automation coverage, test reliability, and defect leakage.
- Use insights to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
Automation Strategy & Standards
- Define organizational standards for test automation tools, frameworks, and practices.
- Promote scalable and maintainable automation solutions across teams.
- Ensure alignment with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery.
What you will bring:
Domain Expertise
- Deep expertise in quality engineering principles, tools, and methodologies (e.g., shift-left testing, test automation, performance testing, CI/CD, DevOps).
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on metrics and outcomes.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align QE practices with business goals and transformation objectives and Proficiency in test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and QE tools.

The base salary for this position is between $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
