Data Reporting Intern (Temporary New Grad Opportunity)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Reporting Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data, analytics, and process improvement. As a Data Reporting Intern, you will support the development of data-driven insights, enhance reporting capabilities, and contribute to the optimization of business processes through automation and effective communication. This is a hybrid role requiring the candidate to work on-site in either our London, Toronto or Winnipeg office three times a week.  

 

This is a new grad position that will start on August 5, 2025 and conclude on December 19, 2025. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Insights

    • Perform data discovery and analysis to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
    • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
    • Develop and deliver dashboards and reports that support business operations and decision-making.

Data Management

    • Collect, consolidate, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and reliability.

Process Improvement

    • Assist in designing and implementing process enhancements using modern tools and technologies.
    • Support automation initiatives to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

End-User Support

    • Create user-friendly documentation such as process diagrams, knowledge articles, and presentations.
    • Help facilitate the adoption of new tools and processes across the organization.

Collaboration & Communication

    • Work closely with team members and cross-functional partners to support shared goals.
    • Contribute to strategic communications and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives, including presentations and communities of practice.

 

Qualifications

    • Successfully completed a program in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and Excel.
    • Basic understanding of data management and reporting principles.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
    • Agile, practical, customer service-oriented mindset
    • Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website

The base salary for this position is between  $40,300 - $63,800 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
