Associate Manager, Wealth Product Management

The Associate Manager, Wealth Product Management is a key contributor to complex investment product projects across multiple businesses, markets, and funds. 

The role will partner and collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to support and lead product processes from ideation to execution.  

Lastly, the role will drive a thorough and specialized understanding of the competitive marketplace to create and market world class product solutions across multiple channels.

 

What you will do 

 

  • Develop market insights around customer needs and trends through interactions with a variety of distribution teams and industry stakeholders
  • Drive communication around research/analysis/insights to assist and enhance business development initiatives, management decision making, and strategic planning
  • Develop marketing collateral content around fund positioning (ex. bought/owned/earned media (PR, presentations, online), etc)
  • Lead product (institutional + retail) positioning by conducting market evaluations + driving business cases (ex. competitive + customer segmentation analyses, market scans + opportunity assessments, new product opportunities, etc) to expand client base
  • Partner with stakeholders (product management, sales, marketing, etc) to communicate consistent product positioning and messaging
  • Proactively develop insights and perspectives key for product training + support 
  • Consistently evolve strategic direction in line with industry-specific client and stakeholder needs (ex. ETFs, Privates, Decumulation, Solutions, etc.)

 

What you will bring

 

  • 5+ years of Wealth or Investment product experience ideally in product management or analytics 
  • Demonstrated expertise in investment funds and the regulatory environment in which they operate
  • Strong understanding of product performance indicators
  • Demonstrated experience with market evaluations, financial analysis, business case development, product pricing + design, and planning
  • Strong product, planning, and project management skills - self-motivated and results oriented individual with strong leadership, decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to leverage insights to determine customer and industry needs, trends, and potential areas of improvement 
  • High degree of financial, analytic and problem-solving skills
  • University degree in a related field.
  • CFA, CIM, CAIA are assets
  • Strong proficiency with the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with industry-related applications particularly Morningstar Direct and eVestmentare is an asset

The base salary for this position is between $80,400 - $130,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
