We are looking for an Associate Manager, Technology Finance

 

The Associate Manager, Technology Finance, as part of Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis in the Office of the CIO will develop and/or lead complex ad hoc analysis requiring significant understanding of our business and financial data for Canada Technology.  This will include regular as well as the development of new and improved reporting/concepts/best practices to be leveraged by the business and deployed by other finance teams. The role will be a key resource for senior finance leader work overflow and coordination of initiatives that impact multiple areas within finance and Canada Technology.

 

What you will do:

  • Lead/coordinate monthly reporting informing senior Technology leaders on financial and other pertinent business measures and trends.
  • Prepare presentations and supporting analysis for monthly results meetings.
  • Coordinate and/or lead annual planning process for Digital Technology and represent the technology organization to gain financial alignment through the corporate process.
  • Develop and maintain accurate budget and forecast models.
  • Support and/or drive key business decisions with understandable analysis or models by leveraging other finance teams (primarily Management Information and Expense Management) for a holistic view.
  • Provide financial expertise and mentoring to other finance teams to build cross-department knowledge/collaboration.
  • Numerous ad hoc requests

 

What you will bring:

  • Post-secondary degree in Business/Finance or other related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
  • 3-5 years’ experience as Senior Financial Analyst or other equivalent roles.
  • Experience supporting technology finance is strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills leveraging large data sets.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and present complex financial analysis to evaluate/aid decision making with diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional technical skills as it pertains to: Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of our organization, products, systems, and data is an asset
  • Ability to work with multiple priorities, tight deadlines and coordination across teams.
  • Willing and eager to adapt to changes and stay ahead of the curve to support our various business partners.
  • Able to thrive in fast moving and ambiguous environments.

The base salary for this position is between $80,400- $130,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
