Associate Manager, Content Marketing - 14 Month Contract

Description:

Temporary Full Time

-

We’re looking for a highly organized marketing professional to join our team on a 14-month contract and support the planning and delivery of integrated content marketing campaigns that align with business priorities, customer needs, and market opportunities.

Reporting to the Manager, Content Marketing, this role helps translate business objectives, audience insights, and stakeholder input into clear briefs, campaign plans, and coordinated marketing deliverables. While this role contributes to campaign planning and brief development, it is not primarily responsible for creating marketing content. Instead, the focus is on translating priorities into actionable plans and coordinating execution with specialized partners across the organization.

You’ll work closely with business partners, product marketing, brand, creative, digital, social, legal, compliance, translation, and other internal teams to keep initiatives organized, aligned, and moving forward.

This is a delivery-focused role that combines strategic thinking with strong project management and execution skills. The ideal candidate can bring clarity and structure to complex work, connect audience needs with business priorities and channel considerations, and help cross-functional teams move work forward in a collaborative environment.

What you will do

Campaign planning and execution

  • Support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with business objectives, audience needs, and market opportunities.
  • Help develop and coordinate marketing briefs and workstream-level planning materials that align business objectives, audience needs, campaign requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Help identify audience needs, key messages, deliverables, channel considerations, and supporting materials for campaign planning.
  • Contribute ideas, recommendations, and insights that help strengthen campaign planning, stakeholder alignment, and execution.

Project and workstream management

  • Serve as the day-to-day lead for assigned campaign workstreams, driving coordination, facilitating decisions, and ensuring follow-up and accountability across stakeholders from planning through execution.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, workback schedules, timelines, and asset trackers, coordinating deliverables, dependencies, approvals, and stakeholder inputs across multiple initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings, document decisions, track action items, and provide regular progress updates.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and roadblocks, and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, creative, digital, social, product marketing, compliance, legal, translation, and business teams to support successful campaign delivery.
  • Coordinate inputs, approvals, and asset movement through review, production, and implementation processes.
  • Build strong working relationships and help bring diverse perspectives together into cohesive campaign plans and deliverables.

Quality assurance and production support

  • Review copy and designed marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and alignment with approved messaging, briefs, and project requirements.
  • Support governance, review, and production processes to help ensure work is delivered accurately and on time.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in team processes, templates, workback planning, and project management practices.

What you will bring

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, content marketing, project management, or a related field, with experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns or initiatives.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
  • Ability to synthesize information from business priorities, audience insights, research, and stakeholder input into actionable briefs, recommendations, and project plans.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and attention to detail.
  • Comfort collaborating with cross-functional partners, including creative, digital, social, research, product marketing, legal, compliance, and business teams.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and curious, with a willingness to learn, ask thoughtful questions, and constructively challenge assumptions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Teams, Word, and Excel; comfort using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot is an asset.
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, wealth management, or another regulated industry is considered an asset.
