Join Canada Life’s Actuarial Resource Pool (ARP) and build broad actuarial experience through rotational opportunities across the business while progressing toward Fellowship with the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. We are seeking Actuarial Analysts and Actuarial Associates to join the Toronto ARP in 2026. In this role, you will contribute as a valued member of a highly respected actuarial team and have the opportunity to gain exposure to the following areas:
- Reinsurance Pricing
- Reinsurance Valuation and Financial Management
- Canada Wealth Solutions Pricing
- Enterprise Risk Management
- Risk Analysis
- Capital Management
- Internal Audit

What you'll bring
- A university degree, preferably with a major in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries\Canadian Institute of Actuaries designation (for Actuarial Associate candidates)
- Strong academic achievements
- A demonstrated commitment to progressing through Society of Actuaries and Canadian Institute of Actuaries exams
- Experience in an actuarial role
- An innovative, analytical approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to deliver accurate work with attention to detail and in a timely manner
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and VBA
- Working knowledge of GGY AXIS, SQL Server, and Python is an asset

The base salary for this position is between $82,700 - $130,000 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
