We are looking for an AVP, Data Analytics - Sales Effectiveness and Performance for our Advisory Network.

 

The AVP Data Analytics, Sales Effectiveness and Performance within Advisory Network will be responsible managing our analytics and data science capability across the Advisory Network.  You will lead a team of analysts in partnership with distribution and wholesaling, product, research & insights, operations and finance to provide data to help drive decisions across the business.  Reporting to the Vice President, Distribution Performance. 

 

What you will do:

  • Maintain the Advisory Network’s and wholesale analytics strategy.  

  • Collaborating closely with Finance and Canada Data to enhance timely business intelligence and data visualization and data science models for sales leaders and wholesalers to better diagnose sales results 

  • Understanding and optimizing the correlation between activities and sales outcomes 

  • Help the business understand the underlying drivers of their results and how to action against them 

  • Define, implement and monitor metrics and KPIs, and report on them using scorecards and other visualization tools to articulate them. Ensure ongoing strategic alignment with short and long-term business objectives 

  • Work in partnership with the business and compensation team on incentives and compensation design for both advisors and field leaders aligned to KPIs and ensuring teams are focused on activities that drive an outcome 

  • Work with partners on telling their story using data and crisp articulation of data in power point 

  • Act as a data subject matter expert translating business needs into data projects and data projects into business implications 

  • Develop top talent, and coach a team of high performing team 

  • Influence senior leadership within Advisory Network and Wholesale to understand business drivers and enable them to make decisions based on data 

 

What you will bring:

  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science or any other quantitative field 

  • Subject matter expertise in data analytics in a sales environment 

  • Demonstrated leadership building strong teams from the ground up, fostering a culture of innovation 

  • Polished communication and presentation skills to audiences including senior leadership. 

  • Experience within the Financial Services sector  

  • Background using analysis / analytic and visualization tools such as Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau and or PowerBI

The base salary for this position is between  $114,300- $200,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
