Annuity Analyst

The Annuity Analyst will play a crucial role in both the onboarding and testing of new Longevity SWAPS, as well as supporting the operational activities of existing longevity SWAPS. This position requires a detailed-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.  This roled in located in Regina, SK.

 

What you will do

Development and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of New SWAPs and Enhancements:

  • Review and interpret business requirements, ensuring all necessary information is received. Provide feedback and ask for clarification as needed.
  • Prepare technical requirements for new SWAPS and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Development team to provide clarification during the development process.
  • Conduct comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the functionality and accuracy of new SWAPS functionality.
  • Identify, document and resolve defects discovered during testing.
  • Document all testing results in a testing log and add final testing comments to requirements.
  • Assist in Implementation of new SWAPS into Production.

 

Support In-Production SWAPS Application:

  • Submit work requests as required to support and maintain in-production SWAPS.
  • Investigate and resolve questions and issues escalated from the SWAPS Analyst.
  • Investigate and resolve in-production errors in SWAPS application.
  • Design and maintain Alteryx workflows to support in-production SWAPS.
  • Serve as backup for regular in-production SWAPS processing.

 

What you will bring

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of systems development and testing processes.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey information clearly to different audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience designing Alteryx workflows would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in similar role an asset.

The base salary for this position is between  $53,200 - $79,800 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
