We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our Enrolment Services team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, staying organized, and contributing to a team that values accuracy and service, this role could be a great fit for you.

 

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Winnipeg or Regina.

 

What you will do:

  • Open, sort and prepare incoming mail
  • Scan mail into the Workflow mailbox
  • Create and mail correspondence to plan members
  • Ordering cards and statements
  • Package and mail out Benefit Cards to members and sponsors
  • Investigate mail that has been returned to sender and resend the mail as appropriate
  • Filing and file management
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

 

What you will bring:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle pressures of deadlines, high volume workloads, and changing priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Completion of high school or equivalent
  • Comfortable and proficient using Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Strong keyboarding (50 wpm) and data entry skills required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada  website.  The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.

The base salary for this position is between $34,900 - $47,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
