The Investment Specialist is responsible for processing investment transactions and trades, both timely and accurately.

 

What you will do

  • Full scrubbing of received applications ensuring that SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met
  • Communicates with advisors to obtain missing information and/or signatures required on investment applications
  • Application entry into the WealthServ system
  • Ensuring adherence to process to mitigate required LOI’s
  • Email wire order confirmation for application submission
  • Completes transactions and trades on WealthServ system
  • Transfer follow ups – ongoing updates to ensure current data is captured in the WealthServ system
  • Retrieve and respond to incoming email inquiries and requests
  • Works extensively with back office systems, WealthServ, as well as insurance carrier websites
  • Work is carried out with some latitude to decide when and how work is completed
  • Results directly contribute to the performance of the team
  • The position requires no direct supervision or coordination of employees, but may occasionally assist other employees by providing them with information
     

What you will bring

  • Possesses specialized knowledge of investment products, specifically Segregated Funds
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the insurance and financial services industry
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of WealthServ an asset
  • Completion of Post-Secondary School, or equivalent

The base salary for this position is between $43,400 - $68,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
