We’re looking for a Regional Sales Specialist to drive a key region for our insurance Distribution line of business. This role delivers product expertise, provides industry insights, and drives life insurance, disability and critical illness business sales by partnering with a variety of advisors. Our product shelf is robust, dependable and effective and we’re looking to you to show case to advisors the power behind Canada Life solutions.

 

What you will do

  • Execute quarterly and annual business plans to consistently meet sales targets across assigned advisor segments
  • Develop targeted engagement plans and act as the primary product expert for aligned advisors
  • Identify and pursue new growth opportunities in collaboration with regional leaders and distribution partners
  • Provide case analysis, consultation, and joint field support to advisors and their clients
  • Promote innovative sales ideas and implement marketing and go‑to‑market initiatives to penetrate new markets
  • Develop targeted engagement plans and act as the primary product expert for aligned advisors

 

What you will bring            

  • Bilingualism (fluent in French and English) required, as the position will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking need
  • 4+ years of experience in financial services / insurance industry ideally in wholesaling or sales roles
  • Strong expertise in life and living benefits insurance products, with a solid understanding of tax and estate planning principles
  • Post‑secondary education plus relevant industry designations (CFP, CH.F.C., PFP, CLU) considered strong assets
  • Excellent relationship‑building skills with strong communication capabilities and a client‑focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to travel throughout an assigned region using your own means of transportation

 

This position will be located in the Montreal head office.

The base salary for this position is between  $71,900 - $119,800 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
