New Business Technician (Bilingual)

In this role, you will be responsible for completing all system updates and investigation after underwriting is complete on a new business application. This is a highly technical role which requires individuals to complete new business transactions in an accurate and timelymanner. Individuals in this role will be considered the system andprocessing experts. This role is hybrid from the Montreal office.
What you will do:
- Accurately processing new business transactions with thegoal of meeting or exceeding service standards on a regularbasis
- Updating the administration system(s) to ensure the correctcontract is produced.
- Placing of policies, receipt of funds, verifying signaturerequirements in the administration system and completing postdecision tasks in Aura and Compass
- Reissue requests on policy contracts
- Responsible for processing post underwriting decision transactions for Life, Critical Illness and/or Disability applications
- Creating or replacing new documents to create accurate contract packages
- Investigation of outstanding placing requirements at predetermined intervals
- Processing payments
- Updates to Client Information System
- Manage closing out of pending and issued files withoutstanding requirements
- Process requests for optional policies
- Creating client letters
What you will bring:

Bilingualism (fluent in French and English) required, as the position will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.

The base salary for this position is between $50,900 - $76,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
