Claims Processor (Bilingual)

We are looking for a Claims Processor to join the team.
As an important part of the CanOps Individual Claims Team, you will be primarily responsible for timely clerical and administrative support for the Life Claims Department.
Responsibilities:
- Review and set-up new claims for Life Claims examiners for Life Insurance Products working with FM, Pallm, IB15, Ingenium 5.4 and Ingenium 7.7 systems
- Correctly and accurately adding new claim details to the Death Claims Index, JIRA, and OnBase to support the Claims digital workflow
- Ordering client files from the RAM Centre, File Trail
- Sorting, reviewing, and matching electronic, post office, servicing offices and courier mail/requirements to digital claim files
- Monitor and manage multiple Claims shared email mailboxes
- Re-route mail/documents received to appropriate areas within the company
- Liaise with other business departments to share client information with close attention to privacy
- Returning paid files to the RAM Centre and/or preparing documents for scanning into ONBase and indexing
- Accountable for reviewing, sorting, matching, and mailing of outgoing Claims cheques
- Distribute weekly follow-up reports for Claim’s files to examiner’s
- Filing when needed
Required Competencies and Behaviours:
- Knowledge of FM, Pallm, IB15, Ingenium 5.4 and Ingenium 7.7 would be an asset
- Knowledge of Outlook, JIRA, OnBase, File Trail would be an asset
- Proven organization and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple changing priorities, and fluctuating work volumes to achieve time sensitive deadlines
- Focus on quality and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and ability to learn quickly
- Effective communication skills to work within a team
- Excellent team player with the ability to work independently
- Analytical ability – uses acquired knowledge of systems and business to solve challenges
- Bilingualism (fluent in French and English) required, as the position will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.

The base salary for this position is between $38,700 - $52,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
