We are looking for an inspiring leader to oversee the overall performance of our New Business Production teams. As a Director, you will play a key role in providing engaging leadership to our teams in Montreal, as well as to production teams across the country.

 

Your mission: foster engagement, retention, and the development of high-performing teams, while ensuring a stimulating and collaborative work environment. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with advisors, particularly in the context of our transition to a general agency model.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Lead teams to deliver an exceptional client experience to advisors, meeting and exceeding established service standards.
  • Leadership Coaching: Support and guide managers in proactively managing performance and developing their teams.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to ensure alignment and smooth integration of objectives.
  • Strategic Problem Solving: Encourage innovation and guide teams in developing effective and sustainable solutions to operational challenges.
  • Executive Support: Provide strategic support to senior leadership on projects or organizational priorities as needed.

 

Required Skills and Behaviours:

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required, as the role involves regular interaction with both French- and English-speaking clients.
  • Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the organization, ensuring transparency, alignment, and the ability to deliver difficult messages when necessary.
  • Operational Excellence: Promote efficiency and accuracy in insurance operations.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Foster seamless collaboration between teams by aligning goals, processes, and communication.
  • Continuous Improvement Culture: Actively promote a culture of innovation and process optimization by encouraging teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable, effective solutions.
  • Talent Development: Support the professional growth of team members through quality mentoring, identifying development levers, and creating structured career paths and concrete skill-building opportunities.

The base salary for this position is between  $84,900 - $141,400 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
