Our IPC Pinnacle Transitions team is currently growing! We’re seeking a Transitions Specialist –someone who helps to facilitate all aspects of onboarding Advisors and their teams. The Transitions department implements best practices to effectively manage the execution of both internal and external Advisor transitions.
What you will do
- Coordinate all aspects of onboarding Advisors and their teams
- Develop and maintain positive, trusting relationships with Advisors from first contact on an ongoing basis throughout their relationship with IPC
- Act as the single point of contact for any escalations providing an immediate response with the commitment to provide resolution
- Keep the Advisors up to date with progress of Transition
- Communicate onboarding updates with all internal partners to ensure all timelines are met
- Engage relevant business partners to address and resolve issues/concerns raised by the Advisor through strong understanding of Advisor concerns and knowledge of internal operations
- Maintain a client focused approach, ensuring each interaction reflects empathy, professionalism, and ownership.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
- Onboarding Assistance
- Process client requests, transactions, or service changes in accordance onboarding duties
- Ensure all documentation, forms, and system updates are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor and track open cases to ensure timely closure and follow up.
- Communication & Relationship Management
- Build strong, trust-based relationships by providing reliable, knowledgeable support.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Technology, Sales, Compliance) to support seamless solutions.
- Generate or contribute to service metrics, performance reports, or client feedback analysis.
What you will bring
- Post secondary diploma or degree in business, finance, economics or other related discipline. Completion of IFIC, CSC and/or CPH is an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years of financial platforms (Mutual Funds)
- Experience in a contact centre, client service, or operational support environment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Project, Excel, Visio, Power Point, Word
- Knowledge of the industry (e.g., financial services, insurance, etc.)
- Bilingual capabilities (English/French) are an asset.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Excellent client service skills are required. Ability to anticipate client needs and timely follow up is expected.
- Organizational skills and time management – Able to multi-task, prioritize and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

The base salary for this position is between $50,900 - $ 76,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
