Our IPC Securities Operations team is currently growing! We are seeking a Senior Advisor Associate – someone who can provide exceptional client service and support to our Advisory teams to ensure a high level of accuracy and timely transactional processing.

 

What you will do

  • Investigate and resolve cases presented by Advisory and internal teams

  • Address complex cases in an expedited manner in collaboration with internal and external partners where required

  • Work with the Advisor offices providing guidance, documentation requirements and process requested client account transactions

  • Be a registered account product specialist handling deposits, estate settlement, unlocking requests, financial hardship, home buyers’ withdrawal, RESP’s, RDSP’s, TFSA’s, FHSA’s RIF/LIF transactions

  • Mutual fund bulk trade execution

  • Client account entry corrections such as trade corrections, registered contributions and tax slips adjustments

  • Monitor client account debits and process sellouts where required

  • Collaborate with internal teams in person and external teams to enhance the client experience

  • Be a resource capitalizing on relevant regulatory and industry experience to enhance existing processes

  • Assist to actively evaluate the relevance of existing guidelines and collaborate to keep department SOP up to date

  • Be a subject matter expert on Operational BAUs and seasonal activities such as Trustee Fees

  • Participate in department trainings, projects and initiatives as assigned

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience within Financial Operations environment, working with the Securities platform

  • Post secondary education in Business or equivalent job experience

  • Completion of CSC/IFIC preferred

  • Knowledge of relevant Securities back-office software solutions is an asset; FundSERV, T80 et.al.

  • Must be proficient at using the Microsoft Office suite of products, mainly MS Word and Excel

 

 

 

The base salary for this position is between  $48,600 - $ 72,900 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
