Our Private Wealth Advisor Services team is growing! We are seeking an Account Manager for IPC One Advisor Services, someone who will support newly accredited Portfolio Managers in a relationship management capacity, ensuring that their clients’ accounts transition successfully to IPC One. This individual will function as the liaison between the Portfolio Managers and internal departments at IPC in all aspects of the Advisor journey.

 

What you will do

  • Providing support to the Portfolio Manager, branch, and internal IPC teams on all requirements to facilitate the transition of clients smoothly (households, non-mandated accounts systematic financials, documentation required and e-delivery)

  • Reviewing all paperwork received for existing/new account opening through the applications used (Synergize, Broadridge)

  • Coordinate with the IPC Branch Manager (Compliance) to ensure that all requirements meet.

  • Consult with back office to address trading inquiries and/or challenges and escalate issues to management as needed.

  • In depth understanding and processing of workflows and procedures required to transition existing accounts to mandated/non-mandated accounts on the new platform.

  • Daily Investment Form for initial investments on non-mandate accounts completion

  • Monitor and track transition activity for reporting purposes, identify SLAs and opportunities for improvement.

  • Build and maintain relationship with the Portfolio Manager and team through consistent touchpoints (e-mails, meetings, and dashboard updates.)

  • Ensure professional and timely communication both written and verbal when addressing inquiries and/or challenges.

  • Function as the single point of contact for the advisors and internal business members, as well as providing an update on the progress: advancements made, next steps.

  • Maintain accurate records to report weekly and monthly volumes, SLA, issues, and resolution.

  • Identify trends of re-occurring, ongoing and/or regular challenges experienced by the Portfolio Managers and internal partners.

 

What you will bring

 

  • Relationship-building skills; can establish rapport from the get-go and recognize obvious working traits of the advisor and branch.

  • Empathic with sound judgement in decision making– keeping in mind that “The Client Comes First.”

  • Multi-task –Can oversee/manage multiple projects effectively with a capacity for dealing with tight deadlines; must possess excellent time management skills.

  • Communication – Excellent written and oral

  • Able to work independently when required as well as in a team environment.

  • Contribute actively towards the team’s success through forward thinking and a cheerful outlook, transparent in thought process.

  • Organizational skills – attune to situations requiring impeccable time management and the appropriate handling of documents.

  • Must possess at least 3-5 years of industry work experience (IIROC regulatory framework)

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration

  • Completion of CSC is an asset.

  • Must have advanced knowledge of IIROC online applications (ISM, Net Rep, I-Most, OSS)

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Office 365

The base salary for this position is between  $54,500 - $ 81,800 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
