We are looking for a Digital Operations Specialist, Marketing to join our team at Investment Planning Counsel – a Canada Life subsidiary for Individual Wealth.

 

What you will do? 

  • Manage content updates and handle day-to-day support for internal and external facing digital properties
  • Work with internal teams to lead and support MarTech, Digital Marketing, and Advisor Experience projects
  • Interpret customer and company needs to steer transparent and comprehensive product roadmaps
  • Support Content and Advisor Marketing stakeholders in developing strategies for content and campaigns
  • Collaborate with Marketing and IT staff to implement new features, maintenance, and troubleshoot issues within the Marketing technology platform
  • Define the features and customer experience through user stories
  • Partner with cross functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization
  • Manage platform analytics and provide insights to support strategic direction
  • Develop task flows and wireframes based on user needs
  • Identify and troubleshooting UI/UX problems

 

What you will bring:

  • Relationship-building skills with a commitment to establishing long-term relationships
  • Ability to leverage technology to enhance the Advisor and Client experiences
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and use sound judgment when supporting Advisors
  • Experience managing medium-large size projects
  • Usability, customer-focused design experience, and User Interface design knowledge
  • Ability to prioritize and make trade off decisions independently and in conjunction with key stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Project Management and Change Management methodologies
  • Experience using Content Management Systems
  • Front-end Web Design (HTML, CSS & Bootstrap)
  • Financial industry knowledge is an asset

The base salary for this position is between  $58,600 - $ 97,700 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
