Tax Specialist Wealth Management

As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for all tax reporting with a focus on non-registered products. This includes knowledge of the many systems within Individual (Wealth and Insurance) and Group Customer. You will be expected to participate in projects relating to tax accounting and reporting processes, while maintaining timely and accurate reporting to clients and government bodies, such as the Canada Revenue Agency and Revenue Quebec.
You will be accountable for:
- Executing monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations and reporting to client and CRA for multiple Finance tax processes
- Ensuring that reconciliations related to the system process are timely and accurate and compliant with CRA requirements
- Filing all tax slips to CRA/MRQ meeting all deadlines
- Investigating and resolving complex tax questions and inquiries
- Participate in projects that have a direct impact to the tax reporting process
- Analyzing reporting requirements for tax documents under the prescribed guidelines from Federal and Provincial governments
Required Competencies and Behaviors:
- Experience with the various non-registered tax slips that support Individual Customer and Group Customer
- Knowledge of financial transactions and how they impact a tax calculation
- Ability to manage multiple demands while working to strict deadlines
- Proven analytical ability

The base salary for this position is between $62,800 - $94,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
