The role will also provide cross-functional support to physical security operations, emergency management, workforce safety, risk intelligence, technology, and other strategic initiatives.

Reporting to the Manager, Security Operations, Governance & Technology, you will work closely with business, risk, audit, technology, and CPS pillar leads to support effective coordination, identify gaps, monitor remediation activities, maintain governance records, and drive continuous improvement in physical security governance and business practices.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain and enhance physical security governance frameworks, policies, standards, procedures, decision records, and program documentation to support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and effective risk management.
  • Coordinate CPS governance routines across program pillars, including meeting materials, action items, issue logs, decision tracking, follow-ups, and leadership reporting requirements.
  • Support consistent business practices across CPS by helping maintain intake processes, documentation standards, reporting templates, governance calendars, and internal program structures.
  • Lead ISO 27001 compliance and audit readiness activities, including control reviews, evidence management, audit support, and corrective action management.
  • Coordinate internal audit, regulatory, and assurance activities, including evidence collection, issue management, remediation tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Conduct control assessments, compliance reviews, and gap analyses to evaluate control effectiveness and regulatory alignment.
  • Lead the tracking and reporting of audit findings, control deficiencies, and remediation activities through to closure.
  • Develop governance reporting, metrics, dashboards, and key risk indicators to support leadership oversight of compliance, risk, controls, and resilience.
  • Maintain centralized tracking of CPS governance, administrative, audit, and compliance activities to ensure commitments, evidence, approvals, issues, and remediation actions are visible and managed through to completion.
  • Lead and participate in facility security assessments, site reviews, audits, and facility threat risk assessments (FTRA) to evaluate control effectiveness and support continuous improvement across the Corporate Physical Security portfolio.
  • Support the development and maturity of operational resilience capabilities, including governance, control oversight, and alignment with OSFI Guideline E-21 requirements.
  • Partner with second-line risk and compliance teams to identify, document, and strengthen security controls, risk management practices, and resilience capabilities.
  • Support risk assessments, control testing, and assurance activities to evaluate and improve control effectiveness across the security program.
  • Partner with business, risk, compliance, and technology teams to strengthen governance and accountability.
  • Prepare and coordinate governance reporting, briefing materials, dashboards, and presentation content for leadership reviews, governance committees, audit activities, and internal CPS operating routines.
  • Identify and support opportunities to use technology, automation, AI-enabled tools, and digital workflows to improve governance tracking, reporting, documentation management, and overall CPS program efficiency.

What You Bring

  • Experience supporting ISO 27001 governance, certification, control assessments, or audit activities.
  • Knowledge of OSFI Guideline E-21 and operational resilience principles within a regulated environment.

  • Experience supporting leadership teams through meeting coordination, action tracking, reporting preparation, documentation management, or program administration.
  • Comfortable using newer technology, automation, AI-enabled tools, dashboards, and collaborative platforms to improve organization, reporting, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business guidance.
  • Ability to travel periodically to support audits, assessments, site reviews, and other Corporate Physical Security activities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting ISO 27001 certification or surveillance audits.
  • Experience with OSFI E-21, operational resilience, or enterprise risk management programs.
  • Experience performing second-line governance or assurance functions.
