We are responsible for the global rollout, development & support, of IBM CP4BA & Hyland OnBase ecosystem; modernizing how documents, workflows, and content-centric processes operate across the organization.

The ECM platform enables mission-critical business functions, large-scale digital transformation initiatives, and modernization across the organization. You will shape how automation, workflow, and ECM solutions are delivered in the enterprise; technically, strategically, and culturally.

 

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and enhance ECM and workflow applications using OnBase & CP4BA components.
  • Translate business requirements/stories into well-architected, reusable components.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of solution patterns, frameworks, and reference architectures.
  • Ensure highest-quality solutions through peer code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and performance validation.
  • Champion best practices including, Coding standards, Modular and reusable design, Proper version control discipline, Consistency in naming, structure, and documentation
  • Work closely with architects, platform engineers, business analysts, and QA teams across different regions.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, design sessions, and collaborative troubleshooting.
  • Support deployments, solution releases, and environment promotion cycles.
  • Provide tier‑2 development support for complex operational issues.
  • Troubleshoot integrations, workflows, and automation components across cloud environments.
  • Contribute to platform hardening, upgrades, and roadmap evolution.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ECM Platforms and other enterprise systems.
  • Leverage AWS-native components where appropriate, working within ROSA and containerized ecosystems.
  • Apply DevOps and GitOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Git branching standards, automation scripting, etc.).
  • Design and develop Java-based services, extensions, and integrations supporting ECM and workflow platforms.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs to integrate ECM platforms with upstream and downstream enterprise systems.
  • Develop event-driven integrations using Kafka or similar messaging platforms, including publisher/subscriber patterns for content, workflow, and business events.
  • Integrate ECM solutions with external data services and enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, data platforms).
  • Leverage API management platforms (e.g., Apigee) to secure, govern, and scale ECM-related APIs.
  • Collaborate with integration and platform teams to align solutions with enterprise integration standards and reference architectures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues across distributed systems, APIs, and event streams.

 

What you will bring

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Working experience, preferably with OnBase / CP4BA or similar ECM Platform.
  • Experience developing and delivering enterprise applications end‑to‑end.
  • Strong development experience in: Java / JavaScript, Automation Scripts, .Net, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML.
  • Exposure to cloud-hosted platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Working knowledge of: Containers & Kubernetes (OpenShift, ROSA preferred), Linux environments, DB2 or other relational databases
  • Experience building integrations between enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Ability to plan, estimate, and organize development work.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, or equivalent tools.
  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Ability to collaborate across distributed teams and build strong relationships with business and technical partners.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proven ability to debug complex distributed systems.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java for building enterprise-grade services and integrations.
  • Solid experience designing and consuming REST APIs, including authentication, authorization, versioning, and error handling.
  • Experience integrating with external data services and third-party systems.
  • Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures, preferably using Apache Kafka (publisher/subscriber, topics, offsets, schema awareness).

The base salary for this position is between $59,800 - $109,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
