You will be responsible in supporting the administration of NextStep (Policy 62396) servicing and commission processes. This position is responsible for resolving exceptions, maintaining accurate records across multiple systems, producing reports, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the GRS Commission team to ensure service standards and processing timelines are met.

 

 

What you will do

 

  • Own the administration and manual processing of Policy 62396 (NextStep) servicing and commission activities.
  • Review, investigate, and resolve 62396 error memos and exception-based transactions
  • Process Advisor of Record (AOR) additions, reassignments, terminations, and servicing updates, including validation of advisor licensing and commission accounts  
  • Maintain accurate servicing and commission records within GPAS and GCMS
  • Use Excel to calculate prorated AOR share allocations and support commission accuracy
  • Create, maintain, and distribute weekly 62396 audit and exception reports
  • Monitor, manage and triage the GRS Commission team's shared mailbox, log and track incoming work
  • Perform administrative support activities, including filing and other recurring operational tasks.
  • Support Commission Specialists and Senior Commission Specialists with workload management and service delivery.
  • Contribute to process improvements, documentation updates, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced and changing environment
  • Knowledge of GRS products, services and plan types is preferred
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve issues in a positive, professional and collaborative manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be a team player
  • Proven reliability, accountability and a results-oriented approach

 

Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada  website.  The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.

The base salary for this position is between $41,200 - $55,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
